Brought to you by a couple of local wine lovers.

Welcome to Two Days in Temecula. I’m Sarah Marks, and I live in Temecula with my husband, Daniel. We love wine travel. The immediate feeling of escape, the way it encourages conversation with people you’ve never met, the excitement of discovering a favorite new winery or restaurant. I want you to have that same feeling when you visit Temecula.

I’ve been designing popular media and culture websites for much of my professional career, so creating an experience about vacationing in wine country was a natural fit. I’ve also earned a Level 2 certificate with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET), taken an intensive sommelier course with the San Francisco Wine School, and have a background serving at that famous pink hotel on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills. Dan is also a student of wine, and works in production at a popular Temecula winery.

Together, we’ve journeyed up and down the California coast and spent many weekends enjoying the Santa Ynez, Paso Robles, Central Coast, Napa, and Sonoma valleys. We’ve traveled farther north to explore Oregon Pinot Noir, sipped Eiswein in Heidelberg, Sancerre in the Loire Valley, and Chianti in Tuscany. Los Angeles transplants, Dan and I have been visiting Temecula Wine Country since 2004. We moved here in 2021.

I hope you find this website helpful.

See you in wine country!
