Pechanga Resort Casino

Wide Selection of Restaurants • Casino • Spa • Pool • Golf • 20 min to wineries

Rooms from $179

With a spa, multiple pools with waterslides, fine dining, performances from celebrities like Jon Stewart and Jerry Seinfeld, and a golf course, Pechanga Resort Casino is its own weekend getaway. But it’s also just a 20 minute drive to the wineries, making it a great option if your plan is to get in a round before a day of wine tasting.

Pechanga Resort Casino is home to some of the best restaurants in Temecula, as well. Umi Sushi & Oyster Bar tops our list for the best sushi in town, and The Great Oak Steakhouse dishes out perfectly cooked Wagyu to go with your selection from their award-winning wine list — or expertly made craft cocktail. With rooms at less than $200 per night, Pechanga is one of the more affordable luxury options in town.

Temecula Creek Inn

Restaurant • Pool • Golf • 20 min to wineries • Dog-friendly

Rooms from $191

With a rustic, upscale lodge-style atmosphere, Temecula Creek Inn has the opposite vibe from Pechanga Casino, though it is also owned by the Pechanga Band of Indians. Set behind its championship golf course and hidden in the surrounding huge oak trees, Temecula Creek Inn oozes tranquility even when the parking lot is full. It’s a vast, gorgeous property with multiple wedding venues and separate buildings for guests, golfers, and restaurant visitors.

The restaurant, Corkfire Kitchen, is one of our fine dining picks, but it’s also great for brunch or a celebratory drink once your round is complete. There is a large bar area with floor to ceiling views of the golf course and TVs guaranteed to be airing the latest tournament.

When you book through the link above, Two Days in Temecula receives a small commission at no extra cost to you. The opinions on this page are entirely our own.

TEMECULA
GOLF COURSES

Journey at Pechanga Resort Casino

Journey at Pechanga is a championship-level golf course with dramatic elevation changes and narrow landing areas that challenge even low-handicap golfers. The greens are lightning-fast and true, especially in tournament conditions, requiring confident reads and a delicate touch.

Temecula Creek Golf Club at Temecula Creek Inn

Temecula Creek Golf Club offers three nine-hole courses with a mix of wide fairways and rolling terrain that challenge golfers with strategic elevation changes. The greens are moderately fast and well-maintained, rewarding precise putting without being overly punishing.

Cross Creek Golf Club

Cross Creek Golf Club is known for its secluded, natural setting and tight fairways that demand accuracy off the tee. The greens are smooth and quick, often running faster than most public courses in the area. It’s also not far from Pechanga Resort Casino and Temecula Creek Inn.

Redhawk Golf Club

Redhawk Golf Club features one of the most challenging layouts in Temecula, with water hazards, tiered greens, and demanding approach shots. The greens are fast and undulating, making putting a true test of skill and touch.

Legends Golf Club

The Legends Golf Club provides a more forgiving layout with generous fairways, making it accessible to mid-level players while still offering strategic bunkering. The greens are medium-fast, consistent, and receptive to well-struck approach shots.
