The Vine House Bed & Breakfast in Temecula is the perfect choice for a romantic wine country getaway. The luxury inn is tucked in along the De Portola Wine Trail near some of the most popular wineries in the valley. But it’s also set back from the road, and partially hidden by giant old trees and vineyards, creating a peaceful sanctuary around the property. It’s an idyllic spot draped in greenery, that greets guests with a bubbling fountain and circular driveway. There are even private walking paths to the closest wineries.

Owners Lacey and Rob Britton moved to Temecula to start a family in 2016. They fell in love with the 5-acre property in wine country and held their wedding at the barn that would one day be completely remodeled into today’s bed and breakfast.

The Rooms

The rooms that the couple created are your dream Pinterest board come to life. Lacey lovingly remodeled and decorated each one with fresh flowers, sparkling chandeliers, and accent pillows galore. There are delightful touches everywhere you look, from the brass animal door knockers on each bedroom door to the eclectic art that lines the staircase. Each room has a unique style. One room has repurposed vintage Singer sewing tables for nightstands, that look quite striking set against an exposed brick wall. In another room, a soaking tub rests on a bed of river rocks for a zen, spa-like feel. All of the rooms have a sitting area to enjoy the homemade breakfast that’s brought to your door each morning, and most enjoy a vineyard view with patios and balconies to take it all in.

Walkable Wineries

The De Portola Wine Trail is home to 13 Temecula wineries, and several are less than a mile from The Vine House. A walking path behind the bed and breakfast leads directly up to Oak Mountain Winery. Leoness Cellars is across the street and also walkable, just be sure to look both ways, people drive fast along the trail.

Brides

For brides planning their morning of or rehearsal dinner, The Vine House has some options for you. The main bridal suite is thoughtfully planned out with two king-size beds and six side-by-side vanities for bridesmaids to be comfortable getting ready.  It’s set apart from the other rooms and has a kitchenette to keep everyone well-fed while they prepare for the main event. There’s also a small event space perfect for a rehearsal dinner. A large patio big enough for several tables plus room for dancing sits just off to the side of the bed and breakfast with a stage for musicians and strings of lights overhead.
