It’s hard to find a wine country inn that isn’t romantic on some level. Being surrounded by vineyards naturally evokes an air of romance. The seven boutique inns, bed & breakfasts, and villas on this list also offer privacy and valley views, so whether you’re here for an anniversary or just a cozy getaway for two, you’ll be assured some quality time together after your day at the wineries.

The Vine House

A two-story inn painted white with black shutters.
The Vine House has 8 rooms with breakfast delivered to your door.

A ground floor suite with a patio opening to a vineyard.
A large, top floor suite with a balcony.

At The Vine House Bed & Breakfast, there are several luxury suites with king size rooms and two large bridal suites — one of which has its own kitchen. Most rooms enjoy a vineyard view, and the breakfast that is brought to guests’ doors each morning is made with fresh eggs straight from their on-site chicken coop. The owners lovingly designed each room to have its own style; some take on a vintage feel decorated with found objects, others are more contemporary with spa-like bathrooms. The common spaces include an outdoor lounge with a fire pit, tennis, pickleball, and bocce ball courts, and an event space large enough for a rehearsal dinner. The Vine House is located along the De Portola Wine Trail and is walkable to Oak Mountain Winery and Leoness Cellars.

Rooms start at $235 per night.

The New Inn offers five generously sized villas for your amorous escape. Each suite has unique design touches, so you can choose the style and amenities that appeal to you and your partner. There are soaking tubs, indoor or outdoor rain showers, and a romance package available, which includes an in-room couple’s massage and a bottle of sparkling wine. Each has a private outdoor seating area with a fire pit and views of the valley hills. The New Inn is not a winery, but its location in wine country makes for easy access to your favorite tasting rooms.

Villas start at $299 per night.

There’s a pool onsite, as well as a speakeasy-style bar, and Ponte Winery is just steps away down a vineyard-lined path.

Domaine Chardonnay is a bed and breakfast designed in the style of a French Chateau. There are only three suites (plans are in the works to add a few more), each with a private entrance and private lawn. A homemade, gourmet breakfast is set on a tray by your door in the morning, lovingly made by either the on-site chef or the proprietor herself. Guests also have the exclusive privilege of sampling Domaine Chardonnay’s award-winning estate wines. These wines are not available to the public. The Chapel Suite and Vineyard Suites have gorgeous vineyard views, and if you choose the Chapel Suite, you’ll be able to say you’ve slept where royalty has slept—the Crown Princess from Tonga was a guest of the inn in 2025. Add an in-room couples massage to your stay to enhance your weekend of romance.

Rooms start at $350 per night.

The bungalows also all have oversized soaking tubs, ideal for a couple’s getaway. Stays include a tasting at their on-site winery and access to the resort pool.
